Dreamed up by architects Nikken Sekkei, this two-tower hotel is opening in Za’abeel near Bur Dubai. A uniquely shaped building, there will be 360-degree views over the city, restaurants and a luxury swimming pool deck.

Ciel Tower, Dubai / 2025

Construction is on track for Ciel Tower, a mega project which, once complete, will become the world’s tallest hotel (a claim which currently belongs to Gevora Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road). The hotel will soar 365 metres into the sky and comprise of 1,209 luxury suites and serviced residences split across 82 floors. Inside, specialty dining outlets include a soon-to-be-announced signature restaurant, a Sunset Lounge on the 74th floor and Horizon Bar on the 76th floor, plus a luxury spa and health club, located on the 61st floor. It will be crowned by the Ciel Observatory & Lounge on floor 81 and a signature rooftop Sky Terrace featuring a stunning infinity pool and bar on the 82nd floor.

Mandarin Oriental Wasl Tower, Dubai / 2025

Mandarin Oriental Wasl Tower will open next year. The 63-floor tower will have 257 rooms and suites plus private residences and views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai.

Voco Dubai The Palm, Dubai / Now Open

A boutique hotel at Palm West Beach, Voco Dubai The Palm is offering a contemporary stay by the sea. With 138 rooms and private beach access, it will be a budget-friendly way to stay on the palm. In terms of dining concepts, you’ve got European restaurant Maison Mathis and the rooftop pool bar Frenia, which will open later in the year.

Kempinski Floating Palace, Dubai / TBA

The hotel building is structured in four parts connected in the middle by a glass pyramid housing gourmet restaurants, bars, spas, pools, boutiques, banquet areas, and a yacht parking deck for 16 vessels.

On the roof of the hotel there are 12 luxury villas, and there are 12 eco-friendly glass boat houses surounding and connecting to the hotel.

The villas are called Neptune and are powered by solar energy. They have self-sterilising air filtration systems and use automated technology to operate the entire house.

Kerzner International names One Za’abeel, DUBAI as home to first Siro Hotel

We are thrilled to be concluding 2022 with the announcement of SIRO One Za’abeel, launching in Dubai in Q4 2023. SIRO One Za’abeel will sit in the heart of Dubai’s iconic One Za’abeel development, and will be a fitness and recovery destination, offering holistic fitness and wellbeing programs, in a beautifully designed hotel environment with stunning views of Dubai’s skyline.

SIRO epitomises Kerzner’s continued spirit to disrupt the hospitality industry and elevate the guest experience. Addressing a gap in the market, SIRO will deliver a bold new immersive hospitality experience for guests, with tailored programs and treatments designed by specialists in fitness, mental health, nutrition and sleep.

I am also delighted to introduce the next member of our pioneering ambassador program ‘Team SIRO’. British-Somali professional boxer and humanitarian, Ramla Ali, joins world class football team AC Milan and British Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, who each play an advisory role in the development of the SIRO experience, from its bespoke training programs to recovery, nutrition and wellbeing.

A state-of-the-art fitness club will form the hotel’s core across two floors, boasting a minimum 1,000m2 gym along with dedicated space for yoga and meditation, and studios for group movement classes, HIIT, cycling, boxing and Pilates.

Five JBR – Now Open

Making its mark on the popular shores of Jumeirah Beach Residence, Corinthia Hotel Meydan Beach is set to be the tallest building in JBR. Located just next door to Rixos Premium, the new property will be home to 360 rooms and suites. There’s a multi-level cascading pool area in the centre court of the hotel, leading down onto the beach.

Portofino Family Hotel – TBC

Portofino Hotel will be a deluxe five star family-only hotel on Main Europe island of The World Islands and is the first in the region to operate and cater exclusively to families. The 451-room hotel has been designed in a traditionally European style, with every room offering a sea view. The hotel was originally on track to open at the end of 2019 but has since been pushed to 2021.
